my testimony

                                     Science goes only so far...and then comes God.


God has called me back to life to share you this. My test and this victory is not mine to keep. It is for all of us to share. To God be the glory…

My storm…

In 2009 I had an excruciating pain in the stomach, was hospitalized for pancreatitis, had an MRI and endoscopy and was referred to a specialist afterwards.

The test was confirmed that I have pancreatic tumor.

In February 2010, I went through a major surgery for 8 hours and stayed in the hospital for a month. The biopsy of the tumor showed it was malignant and aggressive but the specialist confidently said its gone.

2011 were spent with a periodic CT Scans and blood tests.

My first scan in 2012 showed that there was a recurrence of the disease, this time in the liver. They called me to report to the Cancer Centre in Westmead to schedule another scan.

However, when the latest medical report came out – it shows my liver is normal, therefore I am cancer FREE.

My learning…

In this experience I learned to trust God like I’ve never trusted Him before.

Despite of my circumstance, I learned to stay in peace and just focus my eyes on Him.
I learned that faith and prayer can really move mountains. Someone said science goes only so far and then comes God. 

I also learned that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel and that Setbacks are just temporary and won’t stop me from becoming who God wants me to be. 

I learned that the same God that’s in control of my good times is just as in control of my tough times. 

I learned to see life in a different perspective. I began to appreciate simple things, things that I took for granted before.

I learned that God is using the storm as a step up for a much bigger purpose such as reaching out to others in need, encouraging those who are feeling down, and  blessing someone's life  so that they, too, would know God personally and learn to put their trust in Him. 

My victory…

All of these with boldness I say, I am healed.

God has healed me physically but most importantly, I am healed spiritually. 

He has restored the joy of my salvation and I am ready to take another step of faith towards a new level of my God ordained destiny. 

God has armed me with strength for the battle, He will make my enemy my footstool( 2 Sam 22:40). 

In Christ I am more than a conqueror for the battle is not mine, it is the Lords. 

In Him I claim victory.

My exhortation...

You may be in this situation that I went through,  or may still be in the middle of a storm or disappointment, a bad medical report, some financial difficulty, or in a relationship breakdown and you may be asking yourself, what am I going to do? This circumstance is too big for me  to handle. 

I encourage you to come back to the place in your heart where God is. He is your refuge, your hiding place. The bible says, God loves you with an everlasting love, He has you in His palms. Life may be unfair sometimes but God is fair. Just because the problem forms doesn’t mean it will prosper. Remember your past victories with God and how He fought for you. 

God is in control, nothing is happening without His permission. He will not allow a storm unless He has a divine purpose for it. 

You might think it’s easy for me to say it now because I am free from the disease. I know it’s hard, I’ve been there. I cried out to God a couple of times but what I’m saying is, you can’t afford to sit around in self- pity. Sometimes things don’t turn out the way we wanted. Sometimes God will not deliver us from the storm. It is not because He is mean or He wanted to make our life miserable but because God wants to show His favor in our lives in a far greater way. 
So, instead of putting yourself down, shake it off. Don't get bitter, don't complain.  Start thanking God for his favor even though you don’t see one, yet.  Take a step of faith, it is worth the risk. God has the final say in your circumstance. His ways are higher than our ways.  He knows how to shift the winds of the storm. He can cause them to blow you forward where you will come out better and stronger. 

Trust in Him for He is able. He has healed me, He can absolutely do the same for you.
